香港資優教育學苑院長黃金耀上任近3年以來，除為學苑擴闊收生途徑、增加多元化課程外，亦希望通過有系統的課程，培訓資優生的領導才能，為未來社會培育人才。

資優教育學苑參觀內地科研機構 學生反思科技應用
香港資優教育學苑首次舉辦的內地創新科技考察之旅，共有30名學生參加，主要為中四至中五學生；而參加考察團之前，學生均須經過面試，確保了解該團的目的。其中在新學年升讀牛津大學心理及語言學系一年級的莫天恩，以及就讀南島中學第11年級的潘宏澔，皆指是次行程獲益良多。

醫科、法律向來得到香港相關諸多尖子的青睞，但也有資優學子與眾不同，不擇「神科」而愛創科。 香港資優教育學苑的資優學員張善濤自小展現出數學方面天分，在諸多比賽中拿下佳績，他亦關心環保，參與建立獨立組織關心碳排放。 今期《教育佳》封面故事訪問了張善濤及其家長，帶大家瞭解資優少年的成長史，以及和諧共處、自由自律的家庭氛圍為孩子帶來的影響。
