兒童節聽兒童說︳資優生黃苡因學習是王道!原來孩子也會為移民不開心
剛過去的兒童節,星島集團的《親子王》以4位孩子的故事作為該期的封面故事,嘗試讓讀者聽聽孩子的心聲。學苑的資優生黃苡因在「開放數據創新應用比賽2023」,憑發明作品《社區、生態自遊易》榮獲小學組二等獎及最佳創新獎(小學組),在專輯中分享她的學習熱誠、她的寶盒和她認為開心的事……

第26屆香港青少年科技創新大賽頒發獎項
香港資優教育學苑院長黃金耀博士出席香港新一代文化協會主辦的“香港青少年科技創新大賽”,以評判代表的身份致辭,黃博士肯定各參賽者為完善作品所作出的不懈努力。他指出,在評審中看到很多研究或發明都與現實生活息息相關,體現了創科人才的使命感及社會責任感,可見參賽同學都有正向的價值觀。他認為在推動STEAM教育過程應滲入價值教育,重視全人教育,從而提升學生的綜合素質。

尖子從小愛生物學 獲大學教授當師傅 見識真正科研兼做一日教授
今年18歲的香港資優教育學苑校友邱若嵐Ariel,2020年時參加了由學苑主辦的「香港資優師徒計劃」,獲配對成為香港科技大學生物工程學系Angela吳若昊博士的徒弟進行為期兩年的學習與交流,期間她不單成為了吳博士實驗室的影子實習生,有機會見識真正的科研工作,更讓她實現了從小到大當生物學教授的夢想,展開了一段大開眼界的學習旅程。

樂於服務關心社會 10傑青獲頒「明日領袖」獎
「明日領袖高峰論壇暨明日領袖選舉頒獎禮2023」於3月2日舉行,嘉許10位有良好品德、樂於服務、關心社會及具備領袖才能的學生領袖。其中來自香港資優教育學苑的獲獎學生潘潁霖表示,自己在13歲時已通過各種媒介了解到,人們對環境的破壞已到了必須做出改變的地步,近年她加入了可持續發展組織致力於推動相關項目,今次得到「明日領袖」的獎項是對自己努力的認同,讓她更有信心堅持下去。
